This watermelon tourmaline has a vibrant bluish green and pink color with excellent clarity, eye clean, the camera doesn’t capture its vivid saturation and the vibrant crystal transparency and purity of this wonderful and precious bicolor watermelon tourmaline, The first photos were taken under the neon light of my bench lamp, the video and the other photos were taken in full natural daylight, in my patio or back yard. These watermelon tourmalines is a rare variety, called that way because of their two colors clearly shown in the same crystal, they are very rare and hard to find, it’s given name is because of the similarity in the colors of the watermelon fruit and were created naturally under special conditions underground millions of years ago; but its production is less every day and those of good quality are extremely rare, acquired mostly by collectors, due to this, their price is sky high; every time a good quality tourmaline watermelon is found they make of this gem a true treasure.
