In my search for emeralds in Colombia for my online store, thousands of them are shown to me and I only choose those that are crystalline, blue-green and bright and especially from the Muzo mines; I have to be very careful and check with a magnifying glass that there are no almost invisible fractures and holes filled with synthetics, especially on the table and the crown, which is the most visible part of the gem.
